A wide range of leisure activities makes every day on holiday an unforgettable experience!

Who is the fastest on the go-kart track? Who will dare to come with us to the witch’s house or practise some somersaults on the large trampoline with 4 sections? There is also a large climbing tree and climbing rock for brave climbers or you can play beachvolleyball or soccer. There are no limits to the fantasy of our young guests here at the Seitenalm!

Our playground for little & big explorers

From mid-October a completely redesigned play area awaits you at Seitenalm – created for families looking for more than just a swing. Our new playground features age-appropriate zones for toddlers, older children, and even space for shared play with parents and grandparents. Whether it's climbing, balancing, or discovering creatively – children here can experience adventures with all their senses.

The thoughtfully designed concept supports your children's motor and social development while also offering retreats for parents: while the little ones play, learn, and are looked after, you can relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Ideal for little explorers, the zip line and carousel will ensure smiles and unforgettable memories. With a focus on safety and fun, they're the perfect addition to your stay – even in winter.

Right across from the hotel is the idyllic natural recreational pond – a place to unwind, enjoy, and spend time with the family. Whether it's a picnic in the countryside, a ride on the "Josefa" pedal boat, or a relaxing time at the pond hut – everyone will find something to their liking here.

Who dares to visit the witch’s house?

It’s now even more fun to walk up from the Seitenalm to the witch’s house on the 4 seasons trail!

Did you know that the four seasons have a particular significance for us here at the Seitenalm? It’s not only because the hotel is open in all four seasons, but also because we are four sisters here at the Seitenalm. So we created this magical trail for you. The trail is magic because it leads you to our witch’s house and because each season has its own magic.

Sand playhouse

A mountain full of sand for digging, building, excavating and shovelling. The large sand playhouse is covered to ensure that the sand retains its high quality and that you’re protected if it rains.

The sand playhouse covers an area of 10 m³ and is filled with 3 truckloads of sand.

Einmal pro Woche verrät euch Peter am Bogenschießplatz in der Gruppe die Tipps und Tricks des Bogenschießens. Denn durch richtige Anleitung und Handhabung der Bögen gelingt das Schießen viel leichter.

Water playground

The water playground is a true paradise for all age groups. With a lighthouse, water wheels, water jets, whirlpools, a water tower, tricky locks and an interactive water crank, there is something for every child to discover and experience.

Fishing in your own pond

Once a week at 10.00 a.m., host Peter accompanies you to the nearby Kurzenhofteich – ideal for anglers of all ages!

  • Crystal-clear water with trout, char, and carp
  • Tips & tricks from experienced fisherman Peter
  • Correct casting and handling of your catch
  • A child-friendly, playful fishing experience
  • Duration: approx. 1.5 hours
