Small animals - summer pasture

In the summer our animals enjoy the warm rays of sunshine and the fresh grass at the summer pasture.   

He-goat Bärli with Schwänli and Schnuggi show you how good they can climb on their tree stumps.

Rabbit Klopfer and his friends dig deep holes in the summer pasture and play hide-and-seek.

The guinea-pigs take good care of their offspring and love their house under the goat´s cabine.

Zenzi, the cow, Linda and Wendy, the highland bovines enjoy their days at the pastures around the Seitenalm.

The donkeys Tschibo and Leo are waiting for visits and food as the donkey pasture right across the hotel. 

Dagobert Duck with his girlfriend Daisy Duck and their kids are swimming in the leisure pond and they also enjoy short naps in the grass while the sun is shing so nicely. They love it when our guests pay them a visit, because they are always hungry.

And Bruno the frog and his big family are living in the leisure pond as well. But if they go our for a ¨frog-walk¨ they even come over to the hotel so visit the kids. There are always some brave kids, who dare to take a frog in the hand and kiss them carefully to see if they will transform into a real prince indeed.

The 10 ponies enjoy the grassy paddock and they look forward to make a ride with the kids every day. The love to be combed and caressed and they also love it when their horseshoes are scratched and oiled. The ponies really enjoy it when the kids take care of them with love. Daily riding gives the kids and the ponies the chance to build friendship and trust.

The baby cats love to be carried around and caressed by the kids. Even the most active kids become tender caretakers if they see how the litttle cats enjoy it.

Because many kids cannot have pets (dometstic) animals at home, they really love to be around the animals at the Seitenalm at all times.
