What is more beautiful, than kids becoming friends with  ponies.

Many kids come into touch with ponies for the first time at the Seitenalm and are thrilled to learn how to ride them. You can see the progression every day, from a carefull touch to a tender hug.

Because pony riding is offered daily at 16.00 pm, there is no pressure or compulsion at all. For us it is very important, that it is the own will of the kids to get close to the ponies, to touch them and trust them.
Only trust and love can build a connection between human and animal. This understanding, is what we would like to teach the kids during their time at the Seitenalm.

During free riding in the paddock (every day) with 10 ponies, the kids may ride and feed the ponies. It si nice chance for the kids to get to know eachother and to make new friends.

Before and after riding, the ponies will be spoiled with combing etc. Of course the kids are welcome to help in the stables or with the maintenance of the riding equipment.

Professional riding classes are offered as well: max. 3 kids of the same level in a groupL: they learn how to mount a hourse, the right seat in the saddle, how to lead the horses by the reins, how to communicate with the ponies - our loving riding instructor will show it all.
Private classes are more effective, with  quicker results, because the riding instructor just has to focus on one kid at the time, so more attention can be paid to the individual needs and skills of the young rider.
