Day- and night tobogganing

RADSTADT
Tobogganing is big fun! The toboggan run  „Kemahdhöhe" in Radstadt invites the entire family to have more winter fun than only on the ski runs.  The 6 km long run is one of the longest runs in the region and is 5 to 6 m broad. By day as well as at night the sight is excellent because the entire run is illuminated. The 8-seat gondola lift - the  Königslehenbahn - brings you uphill to the Kemahdhöhe. The toboggan run starts here at 1.557 above sea level and you will have big fun during an adventurous downhill ride, covering an altitude difference of 727 m into the valley. For toboggan rides by day, the use of the lift is included in the day- or week lift passes.  For tobogganing at night - every Tuesday and Friday - all guests of Radstadt with a guest card can use the lift at a favorable night rate.
Toboggan rental at the valley staion of the Königslehenbahn. Cheerfull facililties for a drink and a bite are offered, in the valley as well as in the mountains,


GNADENALM
A natural toboggan run  of 1,5 km long for a day- or night toboggan adventure - on the foot or the "Radstädter Tauern". The ride with the Ski-doo toboggan taci to the starting point is a hightlight aldready from the very first minute. For those wo want to do it the romantic or the sporty way, there is an idyllic winter walk path uphill. 
You can end your day in a cheefrful alpine hut on the Gnadealm over a Glühwein or a Jagatee.

HOCHWURZEN - SCHLADMING
7 km long toboggan run - day and night

Another impressive toboggan possibility is offered by the  Hochwurzen run. The Hochwurzen toboggan run is one of the longest runs in the Apls. The natural toboggan run invites you not only for a right by day - it offers fun for nighthawks and romantica as well.! The  Gipfelbahn Hochwurzen offers a comfortable uphill ride including toboggan to the starting point of the toboggan run, so that you can make more downhill rides in addition to nice breaks in cheerful alpine huts – right at the starting point of the run as well as spread out from the start to the finish. The Hochwurzen Gipfel offers a splendid view of the Dachstein-massif and of the illuminated Ennstal valley at night. .

Winter walking

A winter fairy tale awaint you right in front of our hotel. The Seitenalm is situated on a sunny plateau with many sun hours each day and a splendid panorama view of the upper Ennstal. You walk through the sparkling snow right from our hotel leaving your tracks in the snow. Enjoying the sun ant the silence on a quiet spot in front or a cabin. The Marienweg is a 2 km long, easy winter walkpath, suitable for prams and sledges as well.

Another path leads you through the snowy woods of the Fager right to the skiing centre Fageralm (ca. 15 km). You van meet your skiing family or friends their for a nice break in one of the cosy restaurants.

Racket shoe walking

Racket shoe walking is a very special nature adventure. Nature lovers enjoy the beace and quiet in the woords, looking forward to the splendid views of the snowy mountain world. With sunshine or snowfall, with the racket shoes you can reach new targets every day. 
Tip: you can rent racket shoes in the sports shop Rettensteiner. Tour descriptions are available at the reception. 

Skating rink

In the Sports centre (Sportzentrum) in Radstadt, only a few minnutes walking from the town centre, an attractive ice rinks awaits parents and kids. From Christmas until the beginning of March, the keds and adults can have a great time on the big natural.
Kids and parents, who like skating but who did not bring their own skates, can rent them on the spot. 
Because of the long opening hours, you can skate some romantic rounds on the illuminated rinks with nice music. l
